Hi Max,
Same thing here… I installed without internet and then tried key gen offline, but still got the same error.
“The activation key is not valid for this computer.”
The problem seems to be in the Key Gen Computer ID…
When I click the “Save” button the Computer ID the software has does not match the ID in the Key Gen and I can not change either of them.

Hi Max
I have the same problem trying to activate and I tied it with no internet as you suggested. Any other suggestion?
