In reply to Gavin. Hello Gavin sometimes this issues appear specially if your isp got interrupted and damaged the file all you have to do is to try again downloading the file and try to extract if it still remain damage please do message us again and we'll se what we can do thank you

While extracting, a message says checksum error. A file is missing from those extracted. How can I fix this?

Hi Max, after a year break without using Allyoulike I renewed my premium account on rarefiles to start again downloads and faced the following paradox:
Although I can download, without any problem some movies, music etc using IDM, most of the time I cannot because the clicking of the relevant link on download page opens a new window in my browser with an error “404 file not found” instead of running the IDM application,
for example opens:
http://www.rarefile.net/404.html?http://www.rarefile.net/zt6x4flq3m0l/Bad.Moon.DC.720pBRRip.AC3.5.1.×264.mkv.html
This ONLY happens when I’m logged into rarefiles
I have tried with all browsers, no antivirus, no URL protection, last IDM version, no proxy.
Please can you give me some help, I have not encountered such a problem before.
For example in the same page Oct 05, I cannot download movie “Bad Moon (1996)” but I can “The Tiger Rising (2022)”
I cannot download movie “Captain Nova (2021)”, but I can “LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes”.

I ‘ve been a customer for at least five years off and on, off because I had a premium account 2 times where I could only download one file at a time and no one fixed my problem…..so I paid for 2 months of free download access with all limits blocked. when I tried to download. instead of the usual rar files, I got only HTML files and no downloads at all…I tried to get someone to fix it but they acted like they didn’t understand what I was talking about, I don’t have an account now because since I couldn’t get the downloads I wanted….I let it run out.

I bought an IDM serial yesterday and now I regret it because i can not download rar files from rarefile. it downloads html file instead. i followed IDM instructions and your instructions but still the same problem.

Last month I bought a premium rarefile account also encountered problems with login cookies using my FRD downloader.

For those who are having issues with downloading html files instead of compressed files you need to make sure the Direct Downloads option (for Premium users only) is ticked in your RareFile.net account settings. I don’t see this mentioned anywhere but this is probably the first crucial step and often overlooked by new RareFile users.

any help here is use not logging dns 1.1.1.1 is that why you are preventing me from downoading. able to get few down now it’s stopped just chromo links not files.. help

I am pleased that so many have found and enjoyed IDM, having been able to install and configure the software. There is one problem, they are not using Chrome, there is something wrong at my end. For too long I have tried to get this program to work, and hoe other have puxxles me. I demand a program that does not exist.
“Please download, unzip and install this open-source NodeJS based native-client. This is the only way for a browser extension to send and receive native commands.”… this thing is not found.
Is it just my system or did the people who created IDM, like to play games. The company like to get your money, but refuses to reply to questions.
“HOW, do I get this to work with windows 10 rs5′ latest version.
This problem is for batch files only, if I had wanted to sit here and click each fill of a fifty file download, I would not have bought the software…This is a good reason to use sites like this one….

Thanks for the reply Max. If I right click on a pdf file and click on ‘Download with IDM’ it works. If I do the same on a RAR or MKV file, it downloads the .htm file.
It seems to be integrated into Chrome properly.

Hi Max.
First time user of IDM, always used JDownloader. IDM is downloading the files as .htm files. Doesn’t matter if it’s a .rar or .mkv etc. I’m using Chrome and I checked file types under Options and all file types are there.
