Hello Jim, you can configure it to run on windows startup. Yes its portable and when you run the program, the icon will be appear the system tray, right click on it to do you settings like which location/ country, etc. When its running, just browse the internet using your browser normally, thats how easy it is 🙂

You can also now use http://www.allyoulike.info , its running now but needs some fixing and configurations. We hope to complete all the technical issues as soon as possible.

Does this program need to be run after every boot, as it is a portable file?

It does not install anything does it?

You run the .exe – your browser opens and you use it?

How to you close it when done and do not want to use it any more for that session?

As mentioned earlier my Firefox was already configured as the default browser. and yet Psiphon opens in Internet Explorer.

I found the problem is due to file association.

When Psiphon connects to its server, it opens an .htm file.

On my computer, the default program to open all .htm files is Internet Explorer.

To solve the problem, in Window Explorer I selected the .htm file, “Open With”, “Choose Default Program…” and selected Firefox.

Now Psiphon on successful connection opens in Firefox.

When Psiphon is run, it connects to its servers and then automatically opens Internet Explorer and shows a web page with the tunneled IP.

However my default browser is Firefox.

Any idea on how to set Psiphon to stop opening in Internet Explorer but in the default browser?

I’m having issue in downloading some link. after copying the links to jdownloader and being available, some or all of the link for a file will be tag “file not found” once being download. to go around this i copy the “file not found” link unto another ISP on another PC. but these tend to be unproductive and tedious. can this app help?

Hello Firewolf and Superkraut, yes ive been using it for a few days already, just run the exe file and it will connect automatically, if you want to play more, you can do the configurations thru the settings, however running it as it is is actually great, it will automatically open your default browser with it running in the background, so you can just surf normally, thank you very much
